EXCEPTIONAL SCHOLARS

A quarter of blind and visually impaired students will not finish high school and less than 15% will earn a bachelor’s degree. As a result, there are fewer opportunities in the workforce, leading many blind and visually impaired people to unnecessarily fall below the poverty line.

The EXCEPTIONAL SCHOLARS FUND supports programs that build incentives for educational and skill attainment as well as inclusive hiring practices
