JESSICA HETZEL recently graduated with her bachelor’s in public relations, event management, and disability studies from Central Michigan University. She has a passion for creating an inclusive environment in the entertainment industry due to her love for concerts and live events.  

 

Ms. Hetzel has professional experience planning and implementing accessibility within events, which includes creating an accessibility guideline for events. As a disabled attendee of live events, she has witnessed the accessibility barriers and wants to improve those experiences for other patrons.

 

Due to her passion, Jessica is currently pursuing her master’s in disability studies. She hopes to use her knowledge of accessibility, event management, and disability studies to build an accessible experience for everyone at a live event or within the education system. In her free time, she loves playing with her service dog and traveling to attend concerts.
